Lenny Mallett has had work experience in the steel industry. Lenny started their career in 2003 at Hamilton Specialty Bar as a Meltshop General foreman and worked there until 2018. In 2018, they joined STELCO - The Steel Company of Canada as an Operations Shift Manager- BOF.

Lenny Mallett attended Barton Secondary from 1989 to 1993, but did not pursue a specific degree or field of study during this time.
