Perla Fernández has a diverse work experience in the steel industry. Starting in 2009, they worked as a Sales Promoter and later transitioned to Telephone Sales at PLESA ANAHUAC Y CIAS S.A DE C.V. There, they gained knowledge about the construction, mining, transportation, and electrical industries. In 2017, Perla became a Regional Sales Manager at SSAB, specializing in advanced high-strength steels. Perla worked on applications for cargo transportation and developed expertise in different types of steel. Perla's most recent role is as a Sales Executive at Steel Warehouse, which they started in 2020.

Perla Fernández obtained their Bachelor's degree in Clinical Psychology from the Universidad Autónoma de La Laguna, A.C. Perla attended the university from 2004 to 2008. Perla then pursued their Master's degree in Gestalt psychotherapy with a comprehensive approach at the Gestalt Fritz Perls research and training center. Perla attended the center from 2015 to 2017.

In addition to their formal education, Perla Fernández has obtained certifications in Fundamentos de la negociación and Salesforce esencial from LinkedIn in February 2020.
