Ben Morin is an Operations Management Intern at Steampunk, Inc., focusing on business development and government relations within the Homeland, Commerce, and Justice Portfolio. Prior experience includes significant roles at Virginia Tech's Apex Center for Entrepreneurs, where Ben contributed to fundraising and event planning for the Startup Hokies Incubator and Lunch Pail Ventures, raising $2 million in private equity funding and successfully executing multiple high-profile events. As a co-founder of Alpha Kappa Walk On, Ben aimed to promote financial stability for college athletes, raising $16,500 for initiatives. Ben previously served as Co-CEO and COO of FYNIL, Inc., winning recognition as Virginia Tech’s Top Startup 2022, and gained operational experience during an internship with Virginia Tech Athletics, managing logistics for large-scale events. Ben holds a Bachelor's degree in Entrepreneurship, Innovation, and Technology Management from Virginia Tech, expected in December 2024.
