Steve Smith has extensive experience in logistics and compliance, currently serving as Vice President of Compliance and Vice President of Customs Brokerage at Steam Logistics since December 2012. Prior to this role, Smith was Branch Manager at Livingston International for a brief period in 2012 and held the position of International Operations Manager at Averitt Express from March 2009 to June 2012, managing import and export transportation teams. Smith began a career in logistics with Goody's Family Clothing as Import Traffic Manager from 1996 to 2009, overseeing the flow of approximately $100 million in imported merchandise for a large retail chain. Smith's career began as Inbound Supervisor at Fritz Companies, Inc. from 1990 to 1996. Education includes attending Ashbrook High School from 1983 to 1986.
