Peter Gasteiner has held a variety of roles in the semiconductor industry since 1992. Peter began their career at Mikron GmbH as a Sales- & Marketing Manager Contactless Identification Products in 1992. Peter then moved to Philips Semiconductors in 1995 as a Marketing Manager RFID Systems and was promoted to Global Key Account Manager Flextronics and Manager Int'l Marketing Chip Card IC's and RFID in 1997. In 2001, they were hired by austriamicrosystems as a Senior VP & General Manager BU Communications, Senior VP & General Manager BU Full Service Foundry, and Manager Sales & Marketing BU Full Service Foundry. In 2010, they were hired by ON Semiconductor as a Senior Director Sales Automotive EMEA. In 2015, they moved to ams AG as a Senior VP & General Manager Division Sensors & Sensor Interfaces. In 2016, they took a sabbatical before becoming a Senior Consultant & Interim Manager while self-employed. Finally, in 2017, they co-founded SteadySense GmbH and currently serves as the COO.

Peter Gasteiner completed a Master's degree in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering from Technische Universität Graz and attended HTL Steyr.
