Iñaki Rabanillo Viloria has a diverse range of work experience in the fields of machine learning, medical image processing, and research.

Iñaki is currently working as a Machine Learning Engineer at StatsBomb, where they are responsible for automatically extracting information such as camera pose, player and ball tracking, and body orientation.

Prior to that, they were a Postdoc at Vall d'Hebron Institute of Oncology (VHIO), starting in October 2019.

Iñaki completed their PhD at Universidad de Valladolid, focusing on medical image processing and designing robust biomarkers for diffusion MRI. During this time, they studied acquisition noise in accelerated acquisitions using parallel imaging and developed an exact method for estimating noise properties. Iñaki'sPhD began in October 2014 and concluded in September 2019.

Iñaki has also gained research experience through internships. Iñaki completed a research internship at King's College London in 2018, where they studied multishot acquisitions in diffusion MRI under rigid motion. Iñaki developed a joint algorithm for image reconstruction and phase map estimation.

Iñaki also completed a research internship at Inria in 2017, where they conducted a study on noise filtering using the random matrix theory and developed a new method for noise estimation. Iñaki further extended this technique for cases with a low number of acquired gradients.

In 2016, Iñaki completed a research internship at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where they studied the impact of noise map variation in multi-echo acquisition due to GRAPPA reconstructions. Iñaki developed an exact algorithm for noise estimation under GRAPPA reconstructions.

Iñaki Rabanillo Viloria pursued their education at Universidad de Valladolid from 2009 to 2014, where they acquired a degree in Ingeniería. The specific degree they earned during this period was an Ingeniero Superior de Telecomunicación. Additionally, in April 2012, they obtained a certification titled "Introduction To Computer Science: Building A Search Engine" from Udacity.
