Jack Weston is an accomplished Downstream Commercial Analyst at Statkraft since October 2021. Previously, Jack served as a Portfolio Analytics Senior Analyst at EDF (UK) from October 2019 to September 2021 and held the positions of Trading Manager and Commercial Analyst at Yu Energy between November 2015 and September 2019. With a strong background in energy trading and demand forecasting, Jack specializes in modeling and optimizing energy demand forecasting systems while actively trading gas and electricity in the wholesale market to mitigate risks related to market volatility. Jack holds a First Class MChem degree in Chemistry from The University of Sheffield, obtained between 2011 and 2015, and is a graduate of Quarrydale Academy, attending from 2004 to 2011.
