Frank Zerbe is an experienced engineering and maintenance professional with a career spanning over three decades. Currently serving as the Head of Maintenance and Systems at Statkraft since April 2009, Frank oversees strategic maintenance for power plants across several countries, including Germany, the UK, Turkey, and Albania, while managing SAP systems for maintenance and operations. Prior to this role, Frank held the position of Maintenance Manager at Georg Fischer GmbH & Co. KG, managing maintenance for foundry machines and furnaces in the automotive sector. Earlier experience includes serving as Technical Manager at Bayer/Lanxess, where Frank was responsible for maintenance and investments in a production plant for technical fibers, and as a Service Engineer at Kilian GmbH, focusing on service and commissioning for pharmaceutical and food machinery. Frank holds a Dipl.-Ing. in Machine Engineering & Automation from Berlin University of Applied Sciences Berlin and completed an apprenticeship in machine engineering at Borsig GmbH.
