Raynor de Best has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Raynor started their career in 2006 as an Algemeen Medewerker at Ahold, where they worked until 2016. In 2010, they worked as a Docent Geschiedenis at Hoeksch Lyceum for two years.

Raynor then transitioned to the field of research and content management. From 2012 to 2014, they worked as a Content Manager Social Media and Reviewer at Acta Historica. In 2012, they also briefly worked as an Online Sportjournalist for www.freshfootball.co.uk.

In 2013, Raynor joined Cofely NV Nederland as a Receptionist and Facilitair Medewerker, where they stayed until 2015. Raynor then moved on to CAK Groep, where they worked as an Administratief Medewerker Polisafhandeling and later as a Serviceteam Adviseur Zorgverzekeringen from 2015 to 2016.

In 2016, Raynor started their journey at Statista. Raynor first worked as a (Junior) Researcher in Finance, Insurance, and Real Estate - Benelux, conducting market research, creating statistics, compiling reports, and managing content. Raynor also produced infographics and answered customer requests. From 2018 to 2020, they expanded their role to include internet and e-commerce research for the Benelux region. In 2019, they became a Senior Researcher, specializing in financial services and real estate on a global scale. Currently, they hold the position of Specialist Expert - Financial Services at Statista.

Raynor de Best began their education at RSG Hoeksche Waard, where they completed their Gymnasium studies from 2001 to 2007. Raynor then attended Leiden University, where they obtained their Bachelor of Arts degree in History from 2007 to 2010. Following this, Raynor pursued a Tweedegraads Docent Geschiedenis (Second Degree Teacher of History) at Leiden University from 2009 to 2010. Later, they completed their Master of Arts in History, specializing in Political Cultures and National Identies (PCNI), at Leiden University from 2010 to 2011. Raynor de Best also obtained various certifications, including a Qualified Teacher Status from the Department for Education in March 2015, a Health Insurance Agent License from the Ministerie van Financiën in October 2015, and a Master of Arts degree, Tweedegraads Docent Geschiedenis, and Bachelor of Arts degree from Leiden University in 2012, 2010, and 2010, respectively.
