Liam Niemeyer is a seasoned journalist with a diverse background in reporting and content creation across various media platforms. Currently, Liam serves as a Reporter for the Kentucky Lantern, focusing on state government and policy issues for the nonprofit States Newsroom since November 2022. From January 2019 to October 2022, Liam worked as an Ohio Valley Resource Reporter and Assistant News Director at WKMS, covering agriculture and infrastructure in the Ohio Valley. Previous experience includes internships and reporting roles at KRBD Public Radio, WOUB Public Media, WYSO Public Radio, and WCPO-TV, among others. Liam holds a Bachelor of Science in Journalism from Ohio University, where involvement included leadership roles in the Online News Association and contributions as a freelance reporter for The Post.
