Camilla Jalving is an experienced art historian and curator, currently serving as a Board Member at M/S Museet for Søfart since May 2022 and as Deputy Director of Collections, Research, and Conservation at SMK – Statens Museum for Kunst since October 2018. Previously, Camilla held the position of Curator and Postdoctoral researcher at ARKEN Museum of Modern Art from November 2009 to October 2018, and worked as a lecturer at The Funen Art Academy for a brief period in 2010-2011. From 1996 to 2009, Camilla was an art critic for Kristeligt Dagblad and held lecturer and Ph.D. student roles at the University of Copenhagen between 2001 and September 2008. Academic credentials include a Ph.D. and a Mag.art in Art History from the University of Copenhagen, as well as an MA in Art History from Goldsmiths, University of London.
