Shahar Lahav is a technology professional with extensive experience in software development and entrepreneurship. Currently serving as Co-Founder and CTO at Statement since April 2022, Shahar previously co-founded Rehokim Beyahad in 2020, a project aimed at assisting consumers in understanding crowd density in stores during the Covid pandemic. Shahar's background includes a notable tenure in the Israel Defense Forces, where responsibilities spanned research, reverse engineering, development, and team leadership from 2015 to 2021. Additionally, Shahar co-founded Check-In Ltd, focusing on indoor location solutions using Bluetooth Low Energy chip triangulation, successfully achieving product-market fit with Seven Eleven before selling the technology. Earlier experience includes development roles at MYK APPLICATIONS and Pursway. Shahar holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from The College of Management Academic Studies, obtained between 2017 and 2020.
