Martha Young currently serves on the EdReports MLL Review Team since November 2023 and has been a School Transformation Officer for the Newburgh Enlarged City School District since January 1998, with a background as an English Teacher and English/ESL Teacher. In addition, Martha has been a Seminar Facilitator with NYSUT since August 2017 and an Adjunct Instructor at SUNY New Paltz since September 2005. Previous roles include Lead English Teacher and ESL/Bilingual Chair at Newburgh ECSD from September 2005 to October 2021. Martha holds a Master of Arts in Teaching English as a Second or Foreign Language from SUNY New Paltz, a Master’s degree in Education from Pontifica Universidad Catolica de Puerto Rico, and a Bachelor of Science in English Language and Literature from St. Lawrence University.
