Julie Walsh, CMA has extensive work experience in financial analysis and budgeting. Julie began their career at IBM in 1989, where they worked for 17 1/2 years in both manufacturing and accounting/finance roles. In May 2007, Julie transitioned to Higher Education, joining SUNY New Paltz. At SUNY New Paltz, they served as a Financial Analyst from 2007 to 2013, before being promoted to Assistant Vice President of Budget. Julie's expertise in budgeting and financial analysis make their a valuable asset to any organization.

Julie Walsh, CMA, has a strong educational background in business administration and management. Julie completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Business at Empire State University from 1998 to 2002. Prior to that, they earned their Associates degree in Business from Dutchess Community College, where they studied from 1992 to 1998. Continuing their education, Julie then pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree at Marist College, graduating in 2005.

In addition to their academic achievements, Julie has also obtained several certifications to enhance their professional qualifications. In 2009, they earned the prestigious Certified Management Accountant (CMA) certification from the Institute of Management Accountants (IMA). In 2015, they achieved the Gold Level recognition from the IMA. Furthermore, Julie completed the IMA Data Analytics & Visualization Fundamentals Certificate in April 2020, demonstrating their proficiency in this area.
