Melanie Herald is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in fund finance and real estate lending. Currently serving as the Global Head of Fund Finance & Commercial Real Estate Lending at State Street since September 2019, Melanie has previously held senior roles including Principal at Cayton Capital Advisors, LLC, and Head of Capital Markets & Investor Relations at Urban American, managing significant real estate assets. Early career highlights include a Vice President position at Goldman Sachs, where Melanie executed over $100 billion in trades, and strategic consulting roles at Norbridge. Melanie holds an MBA from Cornell Johnson Graduate School of Management and a BA in Spanish and Economics from Bowdoin College.
