Marahim Alakbarov is a Senior Procurement Engineer at the State Oil Company of the Republic of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) since July 2024, following a role as a Procurement/Contract Specialist at Proyap覺 Engineering and Consultancy Inc. from August 2022 to July 2024. Previously, Marahim served as a Procurement & Contract Specialist at the State Agency of Azerbaijan Automobile Roads from January 2016 to September 2021 and held various procurement and contract roles at the Project Implementation Unit (PIU) of the same agency. Marahim began a career in translation and interpretation, working for notable organizations including BP ALLIANCE KMNF & BUE CASPIAN, and the UNDP. Education includes a Master's Degree in Language Interpretation and Translation from Azerbaijan University of Languages and studies at Azerbaijan University of Architecture and Construction.
