Jennifer Wakefield is the Director of Recruiting & Talent Acquisition at the Utah Department of Human Resource Management, leading efforts to attract high-performing and diverse talent for executive branch departments since July 1999. Wakefield has managed major strategic HR initiatives, supervised human resource operations for three state agencies, and provided consulting on employee relations and compliance with HR laws. Wakefield's previous roles include HR Strategy Consultant, Human Resource Field Director, Human Resource Specialist, and HR Analyst/Recruitment Specialist. Jennifer holds a Bachelor of Arts in English Language and Literature from Lewis & Clark College and a Master of Public Administration in Human Resources Management from the University of Utah.
