Daniel Frei serves as the Chief Financial Officer for the Department of Technology Services in the State of Utah, where responsibilities include overseeing a large IT organization with 730 FTEs and $180 million in revenue. In this role, Daniel directs a team of 45 professionals across various financial and operational functions, contributing to strategic planning and performance metrics. Prior to this, Daniel worked as a Budget and Policy Analyst at the Governor's Office, managing budget decisions for multiple state agencies. Earlier experience includes a Financial Analyst position at the Department of Workforce Services and a Territory Sales Representative role at The Standard. Daniel holds an MBA in Management Information Systems and a B.S. in Economics from the University of Utah.
