Ruth Baker has extensive experience in public administration and event management, currently serving as Executive Assistant to the Administrator at the State of Hawaii - State Procurement Office since December 2013. In this role, Ruth assists with legislative tracking, report editing, and acts as a liaison among various state entities. Ruth is also a Partner/Member at The RAMP Group, LLC, where responsibilities include event planning, public relations strategies, and media coverage organization. Previous roles include Assistant to the Chief Financial Officer at the Honolulu Authority for Rapid Transportation and Executive Assistant to a Honolulu City Councilmember, showcasing a strong background in strategic communication, legislative processes, and community engagement. Ruth holds a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from the University of Hawaii at Manoa.
