John Kane is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in policy development and legislative affairs, currently serving as the Policy Director at the Office of Delaware Governor Matt Meyer since February 2025. Prior to this role, John Kane spent over thirteen years in various capacities within the United States Senate, including Director of Infrastructure and Senior Policy Advisor on the Committee on Environment and Public Works. John Kane also held positions as a Professor/Lecturer at The University of Texas System and Director of External Affairs at ATCC. Additional roles include Vice President at Stapleton and Associates and Deputy Legislative Director for Economic Development in the Senate. John Kane holds a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Vassar College, a Master of Engineering in Sustainability from the University of Alabama at Birmingham, and completed a Washington Semester at American University.
