Mike Dunleavy has been serving as the Governor of Alaska since December 2018. Prior to this role, Mike held a position as a State Senator in the Alaska State Legislature from January 2013 to January 2018. Before entering politics, Mike spent over two decades in education, working as a teacher, principal, and superintendent in rural Alaska from 1984 to 2006. Mike Dunleavy earned a Bachelor of Arts in History from Misericordia University and a Master’s of Education from the University of Alaska Fairbanks.
