Christine "Chris" Laney, Esq., MBA, serves as an Assistant State Attorney at the State Attorney's Office for Florida's 10th Judicial Circuit since March 2021. Prior to this role, Chris worked at the Polk County School Board from May 1999 to February 2021 in the General Counsel's Office, initially as a paralegal and later achieving bar admission. Chris holds a Juris Doctor degree from Cooley Law School (2016), a Master’s in Business Administration from the University of South Florida (2011), a Bachelor's in Management Information Systems from the University of South Florida (2009), and a Bachelor's in Business Administration with a focus on Management and Operations from the University of South Florida (2007).
