Courtney Sylvia is an experienced public relations professional currently serving as the Publicity Director at Starz since November 2021. Prior to this role, Courtney held the position of Director Of Public Relations at AMC TV for a decade, where strategic press plans were implemented for major series such as “The Walking Dead” and “Breaking Bad.” Additional experience includes coaching gymnastics at NYC Elite Gymnastics and Paramount Gymnastics, as well as freelance public relations work assisting various clients across diverse industries. Courtney began a career in public relations as an Associate Account Executive at Public Strategy Group, Inc., and gained early experience interning at Rogers & Cowan. Courtney holds a Master's degree in Public Relations from Boston University and a Bachelor's degree in Communications from Rhode Island College.
