Darren Nielson currently serves as the Global Head of Wondery's premium subscription podcast business, Wondery+, and lectures at UCLA Anderson School of Management, focusing on analytics in the media and entertainment industry. Nielson also holds a position on the Board of Directors of STARZPLAY, contributing to strategic decisions for the streaming service in the MENA region. Formerly, Nielson was the Executive Vice President of International Networks for Starz, leading significant initiatives that generated millions in savings and revenue growth. A veteran of the entertainment industry, prior roles include Director of Content Acquisition at Netflix, where Nielson played a crucial role in the company's international expansion, and Director of Business Development at Sony Pictures Entertainment, overseeing key M&A and partnership strategies. Nielson holds an MBA from UCLA Anderson and a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Studies from the University of Oregon.
