Rostyslav Zatserkovnyi has a diverse range of work experience in data engineering and software development. Their most recent positions include Senior Data Engineer roles at both Carnegie Mellon University and StartupSoft, starting in 2022. Prior to that, they worked at DataRobot as a Senior Data Engineer, where they also held a position as a Data Engineer from 2021 to 2022.

Before joining DataRobot, Rostyslav worked at Lohika as a Scala Engineer from 2019 to 2021. During their time there, they collaborated with multiple product teams, implemented feature requests in REST services, and applied supervised machine learning to achieve high precision metrics on imbalanced datasets.

From 2017 to 2019, Rostyslav was a Data Engineer at Snowplow Analytics. Rostyslav contributed to the development and release of the Snowplow product, implemented a release of the Snowflake Loader, and refactored a RESTful API server. Rostyslav also worked as a Data Engineering Intern at Snowplow Analytics from 2017 to 2017.

Rostyslav Zatserkovnyi completed their Master of Science (MS) degree in Data Science from Ukrainian Catholic University from 2019 to 2021. Prior to that, they pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Computer Science from Ivan Franko National University of Lviv from 2017 to 2018. Rostyslav obtained their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Applied Mathematics and Informatics from Ivan Franko National University of Lviv from 2013 to 2017. Furthermore, they attended the Lviv Physics and Mathematics Lyceum from 2009 to 2013 for their high school education with a focus on Applied Mathematics. Additionally, Rostyslav Zatserkovnyi has obtained several certifications including Machine Learning, Big Data Analysis with Scala and Spark, Advanced Data Structures in Java, Data structures: Measuring and Optimizing Performance, and Object Oriented Programming in Java from Coursera.
