Sanjay Chakrabarty is the current Director at Startek. Prior to this, they were a Member Board of Directors at Indecomm Global Services from January 2016 to September 2019. Sanjay was also a Board Member at The Minacs Group from May 2014 to August 2016, where they sourced the deal, structured the terms, arranged financing and signed exclusivity with the Aditya Birla Group Limited ($40 billion conglomerate) to purchase the Minacs Group. Sanjay then formed the equity investor consortium with CX Partners, arranged senior and mezzanine debt financing, completed diligence with co-investors and closed the buyout in 2014. Sanjay improved operations and EBITDA substantially, including strategic customer acquisitions. Sanjay then exited through a strategic sale to Concentrix (NYSE: SNX) for $420 million in August, 2016.
Prior to their work at The Minacs Group, Chakrabarty was the Founder & Managing Partner at Capital Square Partners and a Venture Partner at Columbia Capital from January 2007 to December 2012. Sanjay also founded and served as CEO of MobiApps from January 2001 to December 2007. Their career began as a Senior Manager at Arthur D. Little Inc. from August 1995 to December 2000.
After completing their undergraduate degree, Sanjay Chakrabarty pursued an MBA in finance and corporate strategy from Carnegie Mellon University's Tepper School of Business.
