Jarmo Kaikkonen is an experienced technology professional with a comprehensive background in software engineering and architecture. Currently serving as DaaS Team Lead, Head of Commercial Applications, Engineering Lead, and Senior Backend Engineer at Starship Technologies since June 2022, Jarmo has previously held significant roles including Senior Software Architect at Poplatek Oy from August 2017 to May 2022, and Software Architect at Giesecke & Devrient from January 2010 to August 2017. Earlier career positions include Senior Software Engineer at Venyon and Luottokunta, as well as Senior System's Engineer at Setec Oy. Jarmo's technical foundation was established during a traineeship at Silicon Graphics from September 1994 to May 1997. Jarmo holds a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Software Engineering from Teknillinen korkeakoulu-Tekniska högskolan, completed between 1992 and 1999.
