Ellie Gathings has a diverse work experience in the field of housing and residence life. Ellie began their career in 2015 as a Graduate Assistant for the College of Arts & Sciences at the University of South Carolina, where they facilitated career planning sessions and supervised Career Ambassadors. Ellie also worked as a Desk Assistant for South Area, serving as a resource for housing operations and ensuring safety in the residence hall.

In 2016, Ellie became a Practicum Student at CarolinaLIFE, where they designed programming for students with Intellectual and Developmental disabilities.
