Chuan-Wei Hoo serves as the Group Chief Information Security Officer at ST Engineering since June 2019, with prior roles including SVP/Chief Cybersecurity Technology Officer and Chief Cybersecurity Technology Officer at Info-Security, Electronics, ST Engineering. Chuan-Wei's career includes significant positions at IBM as an Executive Security Advisor, where the focus was on developing Security Intelligence in organizations, and at BT Security as Director of Information Security Advisory Services for multiple regions. Chuan-Wei has also held key positions at Business Continuity & Security Governance of British Telecom, Shinsei Technology Services, United Overseas Bank, Nortel Networks, and Standard Chartered Bank, gaining extensive expertise in information security, risk management, and compliance. Chuan-Wei holds a Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology from the University of Southern Queensland.
