Jennifer Jonika

Executive Director, Early Childhood Services at Starfish Family Services

Jennifer Jonika, MS, LLP, IMH-E® (IMHM-P) is an accomplished mental health professional with extensive experience in early childhood services. Since October 2008, Jennifer has held several leadership positions at Starfish Family Services, including Executive Director of Early Childhood Services and Senior Director of Infant and Early Childhood Services, focusing on program development and advocacy for mental health interventions for families with children aged 0-5. Jennifer has also contributed to research on maternal depression and fatherhood programs and served as co-chair of the MI-AIMH social action committee. Additionally, Jennifer's background includes roles such as Program Manager for Maternal and Early Childhood Clinical Services and Infant Mental Health Supervisor, where responsibilities encompassed staff development and program evaluation. Jennifer served as President of the Board of Directors for the Michigan Association for Infant Mental Health and has worked as a therapist for at-risk families. Academic credentials include a Master’s in Clinical Psychology and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a research concentration from Madonna University.
