Jean Krivine is a highly experienced researcher and technology leader in the field of computer science and systems biology. Currently serving as a CR at CNRS since January 2024, Jean previously held the positions of Chief Technology Officer at Giry Labs and Mangrove from September 2021 to January 2024. Jean's career includes extensive work at CNRS, where roles spanned from Chargé de recherche to Visiting Scientist from March 2009 to February 2022, in addition to contributions at Laboratoire PPS and Université Paris Diderot. Prior experience includes a Development/Scientific Consultant role at Plectix BioSystems and a Research Fellow position at Harvard Medical School, focusing on concurrency theory within systems biology. Jean completed a PhD in theoretical computer science at INRIA Rocquencourt and Pierre and Marie Curie University, with significant research on reversible process algebra and biological applications of concurrency theory.
