Joel Snook is an accomplished engineering manager currently leading efforts at Starburst since October 2022. Prior to this role, Joel served in various positions at Blackboard from April 2012 to November 2022, culminating as Senior Director of DevOps Engineering and spanning multiple roles in DevOps management. Joel's earlier experience includes a position as Principal Systems Engineer at Moodlerooms, Inc., overseeing a global software stack for Moodle. Additionally, Joel contributed to Legg Mason from 2003 to 2011, holding roles from Systems Support Analyst to Systems Engineer, with responsibilities in system implementations and business continuity planning.
