Cory Long is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in revenue operations and sales strategy. Currently serving as the Director of Revenue Operations at Starburst since September 2022, Cory previously held the Director of RevOps position at Upsolver for a brief period. Notably, at Databricks, Cory was the first sales operations hire and played a critical role in scaling the company from $3 million to $800 million in recurring revenue, contributing to a current valuation of $38 billion, while expanding the sales organization from 18 to over 600 employees. Cory's earlier career includes significant roles in sales operations at RPX Corporation and HP Enterprise Security, as well as experience in strategic planning and financial analysis at other prominent organizations. Cory is a co-founder of TNG Pharmaceuticals, developing a patented bovine vaccine. Educational credentials include an MBA in Entrepreneurship from the University of Louisville and a BSBA in Finance from Auburn University.
