Lachlan McNeven is a Senior Dams Engineer with extensive experience in dam design, construction, and surveillance. Currently employed at Stantec since September 2024, Lachlan previously held the same position at AECOM from January 2019 to June 2024, focusing on civil and geotechnical components of embankment dams. Prior to these roles, Lachlan gained experience through various positions including Project Engineer during a secondment at Hydro Tasmania, Dam Safety Engineer at Sunwater, and Estimator/Site Engineer at GRC Civil. Early career involvement included roles as a Student Support Officer and Undergraduate Engineer, providing exposure to water and sewer utilities and geotechnical investigations. Lachlan holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering (Honours Class I) and Environmental Science from the University of the Sunshine Coast.
