Carla Maldonado, M.Eng, PE, PMP, serves as the Program Manager at CSA Group, Architects and Engineers since November 2017, overseeing the consulting support for the Puerto Rico Highway and Transportation Authority’s bridge program, which encompasses over 140 bridges and exceeds $100MM in construction projects, alongside managing $40MM in design and project management consulting initiatives. Previously, Carla held roles as Engineering Manager and Technical Director at JR Tech Group, where responsibilities included supervising structural engineering documentation and assessments, and as a Structural Engineer at CSA Architects & Engineers and David McCloskey Structural Engineers, focusing on the analysis and design of various structural systems. An earlier career at KIEWIT CONSTRUCTION involved contract management and claims processing for extensive construction projects. Carla completed a Master of Engineering in Civil Engineering from Cornell University and a Bachelor of Science in Civil & Environmental Engineering from Polytechnic University of Puerto Rico.
