Lu Zhang is the Founder and Managing Partner at Fusion Fund, a position held since 2015. In addition to this role, Lu serves as a Lecturer at Stanford University, teaching a class for executives on breaking into the venture industry since January 2024. Lu is recognized as a Young Global Leader by the World Economic Forum, joining a select group to contribute to shaping an inclusive and sustainable future. Furthermore, Lu holds board memberships at Loft Labs and Huma.AI, while also being an investor in several companies including Vectara, Otter.ai, You.com, Nexusflow, and Mission Bio. Lu's educational background includes a Master of Science in Materials Science and Engineering from Stanford University, as well as studies at Harvard Kennedy School, Saïd Business School at the University of Oxford, and Georgia Institute of Technology.
