Lara Tiedens currently serves as a Faculty Affiliate at Stanford University as of 2024. Previously held the position of Executive Director at Schwarzman Scholars from 2021 to 2024 and served on the Board of Directors at AlixPartners from 2017 to 2024. Lara was President of Scripps College from 2016 to 2021 and worked at Stanford University Graduate School of Business from 1998 to 2016 as Senior Associate Dean of Academic Affairs and a Faculty Member in Organizational Behavior. Lara contributed to the American Psychological Association as an Associate Editor for the Journal of Personality and Social Psychology from 2011 to 2013 and was a Fellow at the Stanford Center For Advanced Study in the Behavioral Sciences in 2008-2009. Educational credentials include a Doctor of Philosophy and Master of Arts in Psychology from the University of Michigan, as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Carleton College.
