Heather M. Owen has extensive experience in athletics administration, currently serving as the Executive Associate Athletics Director at Stanford University since April 2018. Owen has held various roles within Stanford Athletics since September 2012, including Associate Athletics Director for Development and Assistant Athletics Director for Annual Giving. Prior positions at Stanford University Athletics included Director of Annual Giving and Leadership Gifts, as well as engaging in External Relations for Women's Basketball from 2008 to 2012. Prior to joining Stanford, Owen worked as an Associate at DLA Piper from 2005 to 2007. Educational credentials include a Juris Doctor degree from Santa Clara University School of Law (2003) and a Bachelor of Arts degree with a minor in Political Science and Sociology from Stanford University (1998). Owen graduated from Moscow High School in 1994.
