Eva Zhang is a Master's student in Management Science and Engineering at Stanford University, currently serving as a Teaching Assistant for the Introduction to Optimization course. Concurrently, Eva works as a SURF Researcher at Stanford Children's Health, optimizing procedure volumes in the Gastroenterology department and investigating cancellation rates. Previous experience includes a Patient Flow Optimization Intern role at Citadel Medical Group, where Eva analyzed patient wait times and improved data entry processes. As a Manufacturing Scientist/Data Analyst Intern at Elanco, Eva focused on stability issues and data analysis related to production processes. Additional roles include teaching assistantships at Cornell University, research in queuing theory, finance internships, and experience as a piano teacher. Eva holds a Bachelor of Science in Operations Research from Cornell University.
