Emma Lundberg is an accomplished academic and researcher, currently serving as an Associate Professor at Stanford University in the Department of Bioengineering and Department of Pathology since January 2022. With extensive experience at KTH Royal Institute of Technology since July 2007, Emma has held multiple roles including Professor, Director of the Cell Atlas of the Human Protein Atlas, and Group Leader for the Human Protein Atlas. Emma also founded the Mindforce Game Lab in September 2017 and has been a Biohub Investigator with the Chan Zuckerberg Biohub Network since October 2017. Additionally, providing scientific advisory services to various biotech and biopharma companies, Emma was the Director of the Spatial Proteomics facility at SciLifeLab from 2010 to December 2021 and served as a Visiting Associate Professor at Stanford University from October 2017 to May 2020. Emma earned a PhD and MSc in Biotechnology from KTH Royal Institute of Technology in 2008 and 2004, respectively.
