Carlo Armijo is currently a PhD student at Stanford University School of Medicine, pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy in Biochemistry from May 2022 until June 2027. Prior to this role, Carlo accumulated diverse experience in scientific research at January AI, serving as Scientist I, Biological Sciences, as well as Senior and Research Associate from May 2019 to July 2022. Additionally, Carlo worked as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at Santa Clara University from March 2016 to October 2018, where a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry was earned in 2018. Alongside academic and research pursuits, Carlo has maintained a long-standing position as a Professional Pianist at St. Mary of the Immaculate Conception since December 2014.
