Sophie Shafran is a dedicated undergraduate student pursuing a degree in Political Science at Indiana University Bloomington, with an expected graduation in 2025. Currently serving as the Campus Liaison at StandWithUs, Sophie oversees first-year leadership interns in the Midwest region and contributes to a specific department of the organization. As an Emerson Fellow, involvement in a global initiative empowers student leaders to promote educational events about Israel. Additionally, Sophie holds the position of President at Hoosiers For Israel, managing the executive board and engaging in political initiatives related to Israel. Experience as an Employer Relations Intern at the Walter Center for Career Achievement supports career development for students. Leadership roles also include Vice President of Academic Affairs for Delta Phi Epsilon Sorority and IU Hillel Representative in the Indiana University Student Government. Prior experience includes a customer service role at Wegmans Food Markets.
