Geoff Sobering is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in software engineering and photography. Currently serving as a Senior Software Engineer at Standard Imaging, Inc. since November 2021, Geoff has held various roles in the tech industry, including Senior Member of Technical Staff at Verve Industrial Protection and Software Engineering Manager at National Decision Support Company. Additionally, Geoff’s freelance venture, Moving Target Photography, showcases expertise in capturing high-performance events such as aviation, sailing, and equestrian activities. With a strong background in research and software development at companies like Accuray and Tomotherapy, Geoff has consistently contributed to technical projects. Geoff holds a Ph.D. in Chemistry from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a BA in Chemistry, Math, and Computer Science from Drew University.
