Kumbi Gundani is a seasoned professional in the telecommunications, media, and technology sectors, currently serving as the Head of the TMT Practice for South Africa within Corporate and Investment Banking at Standard Bank Group since June 2015. Prior to this role, Kumbi held positions at Frost & Sullivan, including Executive for Telecommunications, Media, and Technology, as well as Manager for Oil & Gas, and served as Consulting Manager. Kumbi's entrepreneurial spirit is exemplified through co-founding Funda from January 2008 to March 2011. Academic credentials include a Master’s degree in Management Sciences with a focus on Data Science and Fintech from NYU Stern School of Business, a Post Graduate in Business Administration from the Graduate School of Business at the University of Cape Town, and a Bachelor in Commerce, specializing in Economics and Statistics, also from the University of Cape Town.
