Craig Bouwer is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in the banking and financial services sector, currently serving as the Executive Head of Digital Transformation and Customer Experience at Standard Bank Group since November 2014. Bouwer has successfully led customer journey initiatives across 14 African countries and has held various leadership roles, including Executive Head of Personal & Private Banking for the region and Director of Private Banking Africa. Prior to these positions, Bouwer contributed to LIBERTY LIFE BOTSWANA as a Board Member and served as Director of Personal & Business Banking at Stanbic Bank Botswana. Bouwer's career at Standard Bank Group spans from 2002 to 2007, where roles included Head of Personal Banking Segment and Head of Sales for Personal & Business Banking. Bouwer holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Business Management from the University of South Africa.
