Morgan Halvorsen is an experienced editor currently employed at Stand Together since February 2024. Previously, Morgan served as a Senior Standards Editor at Morning Consult from March 2017 to January 2024, where responsibilities included maintaining standards for content creation and managing the Custom Stylebook. Morgan's editorial expertise is complemented by significant roles such as Opinion Editor, where oversight of a revamped submission process and evaluation of high-profile contributions were key, as well as News Editor, leading reporting teams in developing impactful stories. Additional experience includes writing for MD Theatre Guide, serving as a Copy Editor at LifeZette, and various teaching positions in English, alongside technical writing roles. Morgan holds an MSc in English Literature: Creative Writing from The University of Edinburgh and a B.A. in Print Journalism from American University.
