Stephen Summerton has extensive experience in finance and accounting, with a career spanning over two decades in various leadership roles. Currently employed as Controller at Stamford JCC since 2022, Stephen previously served as Director of Church Administration & Finance at The First Congregational Church of Greenwich from 2014 to 2022. Prior to this, Stephen held senior positions including Senior Accountant at Totilo & Company LLC, Director of Finance at Connecticut Convention Center, and Accountant at James D. Miller & Company, LLP. Additionally, Stephen worked as Audit & Finance Manager at Rhode Island Convention Center and as a Staff Accountant at Citizens Bank. Stephen holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Accounting from Johnson & Wales University, completed between 1995 and 2001.
