Luis Villarreal is an investment associate at Stage Fund, a private equity firm in Colorado that offers founders an alternative path to success. Luis has been with the firm for five months and is responsible for leading the business due diligence process, initial assessment on new deal flow, portfolio monitoring, industry research, investment memo, financial modeling and valuation analysis, scenario planning, FP&A, business analysis, and investor reporting.

Prior to joining Stage Fund, Luis worked as an analyst at Goldman Sachs in the Investment Banking Division. Luis also has experience working in the technology industry, having worked as a product manager at a software startup.

Luis received their MBA from Harvard Business School and their undergraduate degree from Stanford University.

Luis Villarreal is currently pursuing a Master of Business Administration at the University of Colorado Boulder. Luis is also enrolled at the University of Colorado Denver, where they are working towards a Master's degree. Mr. Villarreal holds a Bachelor of Engineering from Tecnol¨®gico de Monterrey.
