Monte Fontenot is an experienced event management professional and entrepreneur, currently serving as Founder and Event Director at Vibrating Brain since 2007, focusing on experiential events and product launches. Fontenot has also contributed as a Mentor and Advisor at Stadia Ventures since 2017. Previously, Fontenot held the position of Director of Events and Esports at Gearbox Software from 2016 to 2018, facilitating the city's goal to enhance its esports industry presence. Earlier roles include Senior Associate Producer for the World Series of Video Games, where Fontenot helped produce significant events that attracted large audiences, and Director of Events at the Cyberathlete Professional League, a pioneering entity in esports. Fontenot began a career in the technology sector as Purchasing Manager at OnRamp Technologies after earning a degree from McNeese State University.
