Heather Kelly, CHRL

Heather Kelly, CHRL has a diverse work experience spanning over three decades. Their most recent position was as the Vice President of Human Resources at StackTeck Systems Ltd. Heather joined the company in August 2014 and still holds the position. Prior to that, Heather worked as an HR Consultant/Director at RYMAD Consulting Ltd. from May 2013 to August 2014. Heather was responsible for creating and delivering customized HR solutions and programs.

From 1999 to 2013, Heather was the Human Resources Manager for Velcro Companies in Canada. During their tenure, they successfully built the HR department from scratch and implemented HR policies and procedures aligned with quality standards systems. Heather also designed and implemented Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and HR metrics to align HR strategy with business strategy.

Before that, Heather worked at Rogers Communications as an HR Manager for Rogers Broadcasting and The Shopping Channel. Heather managed HR services for a 500-employee group across multiple locations in Canada and oversaw employee relations, recruitment, compensation, benefits, and employee communications.

Heather started their career at Moen Incorporated in 1990 as a Human Resources Coordinator and Safety Assistant. Heather played a critical role in administering safety and HR functions and implemented a security access system.

Heather's first job was at the Canadian Cancer Society as an Education Coordinator responsible for the Education Program and volunteers within the GTA. Heather worked there from 1987 to 1990 and handled the development and administration of the education budget and liaised with local hospitals and associations.

Heather Kelly, CHRL, has a Bachelor of Applied Arts degree in Environmental Health and Public Administration from Ryerson University. Additionally, they hold a CHRP Designation obtained in 2009 from HRPA (Human Resources Professionals Association). Heather also obtained the Canadian Human Resources Leader certification in January 2016 from HRPA.
